Labor & Employment Associate

Our client, an Am Law 50 law firm, is seeking an associate with 3-4 years of labor and employment experience across an array of employment issues; excellent working knowledge of California and federal employment statutes and regulations is required. Position can be filled in either the Century City or Downtown Los Angeles offices.

Ideal candidate will possess experience in defense of claims pending before state and federal courts, union management relations, reductions in force, employment contracts negotiations, policies and employee benefits programs, and counseling human resource managers and supervisors regarding employee matters and compliance issues.

Note:

Substantial hearing and deposition experience is a plus, as are labor & employment class action and PAGA experience.

• JD from an accredited law school, with strong academic credentials
• Current admission to practice law in California
• Excellent research and writing skills
• 3-4 years of labor and employment experience
• Strong preference for experience in all aspects of labor and employment law, as outlined above
