Tax Associate

We are working with a leading international law firm to hire a Tax Associate for its Private Client & Tax team. This is a hybrid role based in Los Angeles.

• Advise closely held businesses, multinational companies, and high‑net‑worth individuals/families on domestic and cross‑border tax planning.
• Custodial counsel on entity formation and lifecycle matters (LLCs, partnerships, S‑corps, C‑corps).
• Support complex tax work, including restructurings, M&A, fund formation, and capital markets transactions.
• Contribute to business development through articles/posts, conferences, and networking with private‑wealth intermediaries.

• J.D. required with strong academic credentials (LLM in Tax a plus).
• 2–4 years of relevant experience at a law or accounting firm tax group.
• California Bar required.
• Excellent drafting, research, and communication skills; strong project management; team‑oriented.
• Domestic tax experience required; international exposure a plus.

$185,000 – $235,000 base salary (DOE).
