About the RoleAs a CBRE Workplace Experience Manager, you will oversee the delivery of workplace experience services such as Concierge, Reception, Meeting & Event Management, and administrative office duties. You will provide world‑class customer service to clients and visitors of a designated building.
What You’ll Do- Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and coach staff. Oversee recruiting and hiring new employees.
- Coordinate and manage the team’s daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross‑train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships. Negotiate with clients, partners, and associates to resolve conflicting priorities.
- Ensure team support is efficient and consistent; suggest regular process improvement efforts and assist in developing strategic solutions.
- Assess technological and training needs for Workplace Experience teams and clients; maintain safety standards with employees, clients, and vendors.
- Develop vendor partnerships to achieve cost savings. Manage contract negotiations, confirm vendor insurance and contractual documentation.
- Oversee programs run by third‑party vendors, including food delivery, event organization, transportation, and mail distribution. Ensure all invoices for business services are billed.
- Lead by example and model behaviors aligned with CBRE RISE values; influence parties with shared interests to reach an agreement.
- Apply knowledge of own discipline and how it integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day‑to‑day and moderately complex issues that may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 3–5 years of relevant experience. A combination of experience and education may be considered.
- Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
- Ability to manage the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information; convey performance expectations and handle problems.
- Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
- In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Exemplary organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
