Recruitment Manager – Environmental, Health & Safety
Talisman Advisory Partners is seeking a highly experienced Recruitment Manager to lead and expand our Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) search practice across the US. This senior leadership position is suited for a seasoned recruitment professional with a demonstrated track record of high billings, team leadership, and operational excellence.
Role OverviewThe Senior Recruitment Manager will oversee a growing team recruiting across Environmental Consulting, Environmental Engineering, Remediation, ESG & Sustainability, Water Resources, Air Quality, Ecological Services, and related technical disciplines. You will be responsible for driving the team’s commercial output, elevating delivery standards, expanding our client footprint, and shaping the long‑term growth strategy for the practice.
What You’ll Do- Lead, develop, and mentor a team of junior and mid‑level recruiters across the full‑desk lifecycle
- Drive search excellence across senior‑level technical and commercial roles within Environmental Services & Sustainability
- Support business development initiatives with environmental consulting firms, engineering companies, private equity platforms, and sustainability‑focused organizations
- Set and manage performance metrics, revenue targets, and operational discipline across the team
- Hire, onboard, and train new recruiters to support continued expansion
- Oversee market strategy, key account development, and client relationship management
- Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute growth plans for the company
- 10+ years of agency recruitment experience, with substantial tenure as a billing manager or team leader
- Demonstrated success developing and managing high‑performing teams of junior recruiters
- Strong personal billing history within technical, scientific, environmental, or engineering markets
- Expertise in full‑desk recruitment, performance management, and commercial strategy
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior client stakeholders
- Organized, commercially minded, and comfortable operating within a scaling, performance‑driven environment
