The Ethics Office was established with the goal of instituting and maintaining high ethical standards and a culture of integrity. The team achieves this goal through 4 main pillars
- 1) developing an overarching ethical governance program,
2) implementing and maintaining ethics policies and processes,
3) providing education and awareness to employees via communications and training, and
4) ensuring a highly ethical culture by encouraging employees to speak up and to ensure potential misconduct is properly investigated.
Position Summary:
We are looking for an ethics and compliance leader with deep expertise in Legal, Ethics, and Compliance to shape and drive the strategic direction of our global ethics program. This role will serve as a key advisor to senior leadership, ensuring our business practices, technologies, and culture align with the highest ethical standards. The successful candidate will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide ethics initiatives, oversee policy governance, manage emerging risk areas and foster a culture of integrity globally.
This leader will be responsible for setting strategic priorities, guiding a high-performing team, and partnering closely with legal, HR, and business stakeholders to address complex ethical challenges, mitigate risk, and promote transparency and accountability throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership - Lead a team to build on and strengthen the 4 core pillars of the Ethics Office:
Governance & Risk;
Policy & Process;
Training & Communications;
Investigations & Disciplinary Reviews.
- Responsible for the execution of daily regional operations, efficiency improvement, and team management.
- Design and implement regional ethics and compliance strategies aligned with global priorities, regulatory requirements, and evolving business needs.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior regional leaders, providing practical, principled guidance on ethics and compliance risks.
- Engage and activate leadership advocacy to amplify tone from the top and foster visible commitment to ethical culture. Four Core Pillars of the Ethics Office Governance & Risk - Establish and maintain governance frameworks to proactively identify, assess, and mitigate ethics and compliance risks across the Americas region.
- Lead regional risk assessments and ensure findings are translated into targeted mitigation plans.
- Leverage data and trend analysis to provide forward-looking insights and drive continuous program improvements.
- Oversee the collection and analysis of ethics metrics, ensuring insights inform both regional and global strategies. Policy & Process - Implement and maintain global ethics policies (e.g., Code of Conduct, Speak Up Policy) while adapting them to regional contexts.
- Partner with HR, Legal, and Employee Relations to ensure policies are practical, accessible, and responsive to regulatory change - Drive process improvements and embed ethics considerations into processes, operations, and change initiatives to enhance efficiency, transparency, and consistency across ethics operations. Training & Communications - Champion a culture of integrity and accountability through awareness campaigns, workshops, and open communication channels.
- Lead the design and delivery of training programs tailored to regional needs, ensuring employees understand their responsibilities and resources.
- Create compelling, multi-channel communications to engage employees and reinforce ethical culture.
- Equip managers and leaders with tools to role-model integrity and guide ethical decision-making. Investigations & Disciplinary Reviews - Oversee intake, triage, and investigation of employee concerns, ensuring they are handled with fairness, confidentiality, and consistency.
- Partner with HR, Legal, and Employee Relations on disciplinary outcomes, ensuring decisions are principled and transparent.
- Continuously strengthen investigation protocols to ensure efficiency, rigor, and employee confidence in the process.
