Buyer/Planner

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Buyer/Planner at our client in the Los Angeles Metro area. Our client is a well‑established and stable manufacturing organization in the aerospace industry.

Base pay range: $99,840.00/yr – $/yr

Compensation: $48 – $50 per hour based on experience

Worksite Type: Fully onsite

• Purchase and negotiate materials, supplies, and equipment from approved vendors.
• Evaluate vendor quotes and services to identify optimal suppliers.
• Generate purchase orders and manage delivery schedules in alignment with MRP requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers, including weekly follow‑ups on open orders.
• Conduct local supplier visits as needed.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Engineering, Planning, Production, and Shipping) to coordinate timely product deliveries.
• Monitor and manage the shared Customer Service inbox to resolve inquiries and support internal/external customers.
• Retrieve and organize documentation (invoices, POs, shipping paperwork) for audits.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in shared systems.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum of 2 years in purchasing or supply chain within an engineer‑to‑order manufacturing environment (aerospace experience preferred).
• Familiarity with MRP systems.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
• High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel VLOOKUPs, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Epicor Manfact experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
