General Summary

The Induction HTT Technician operates induction coil heating equipment in response to the client’s request. An Induction Technician safely and efficiently operates the equipment to maintain the desired output. Technician set up shall meet basic requirements of the Induction control to meet the temperature requirements as outlined in the appropriate procedure, while maintaining safe conditions for operators and equipment. Each setup will vary based on site conditions.

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintains a safe, secure and healthy environment by adhering to Company/Customer safety standards and practices and to legal regulations, alerting others regarding potential hazards or concern.
  • Performs all duties as assigned and adheres to TEAM’s Core Values, as well as TEAM’s 7 Critical Choices.
  • Gathers materials required to fill work orders, as directed.
  • Sets up the machine, and positions work pieces for processing, as directed.
  • Assists with necessary adjustments and removes scraps from machine.
  • Assists with maintaining raw material inventory.
  • Conducts job walks with certified technicians and be able to communicate requirements.
  • Interfaces with clients and co-workers.
  • Ensures jobs are completed in a timely manner and according to schedule.
  • Instructs assistant in set-up/tear-down of equipment; perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, calibrations and overall equipment and facilities upkeep.
  • Completes proper documentation and reports of services provided.
  • Learns and abides by induction procedures.
Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in relevant industry preferred.
  • Travel requirements: 0% - 50%.
Work Conditions

  • Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant atmosphere and be able to tolerate climate changes.
  • Interaction with other crew employees, as well as supervisors and client personnel.
  • Working in plant and/or shop areas around production machinery with extreme noise.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
  • May be at more than one job site in a day and may be required to travel out of town.
Physical And Mental Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to walk and climb to perform duties.
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to maintain focus and multitask effectively.
  • Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.
  • Sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, with or without reasonable accommodations to perform office duties and travel when necessary to off-site locations.
  • Sufficient personal mobility to maneuver within a refinery or plant environment to include the ability to gain access to elevated platforms via ladders and stairwells.

Job Description

Anticipated compensation for this role is $62,400.00– $70,720.00 per year plus benefits.

  • 432.3 of the pay range for this role when being hired into our locations in California. Team reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and geography.
