Company OverviewMicro Quality Calibration (MQC), established in 1978, is a leading A2LA ISO/IEC Accredited Metrology lab specializing in calibration, repair, testing, and sales of precision measurement instruments. Serving industries like Aerospace and Medical, MQC is known for quality, customer service, and growth.
Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced Calibration Technicians across multiple disciplines, including RF, Electrical, Temperature, and Mass. Technicians will calibrate and maintain precision measurement instruments to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards. Specific discipline responsibilities are outlined below.
Responsibilities- Temperature Technician: Thermocouple, Chart Recorder, Data loggers, RTDs, PRTs, Oven, etc.
- Calibrate standards and generate reports
- Inspect equipment and collaborate with engineers
- Maintain safety and troubleshoot equipment
All calibration is to be performed in accordance with NIST traceable standards. MQC is A2LA Accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, ANSI/NCSL Z540.3-2006, and ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994.
Requirements and Skills- Manual instrumentation calibration experience required
- Military PMEL/TMDE/DOD training and familiarity with ISO 17025 standards preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to meet deadlines effectively.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for potential onsite customer visits
- Valid driver’s license, clean record, and U.S. citizen or permanent resident required.
