Established in 1994, Electronic Source Company (ESC) provides quick response electronic manufacturing services utilizing world‑class manufacturing equipment, practices, and technology. The printed circuit board assemblies ESC builds go into end products ranging from fiber optic transmitters and transceivers to missile guidance and satellite systems. Having grown from a staff of 12 employees in 2001 to the current level of 150+, ESC is a fast‑growing and highly successful manufacturing company.

The Quality Inspector’s role is critical for preventing the escape of manufacturing defects and assuring the high level of quality that the customers of ESC demand. They will be responsible for managing quality processes, performing in‑process and final inspections through the work cell, and utilizing analytical skills to ensure product integrity.

• Perform visual inspection of electronic assemblies for conformance to IPC‑J‑STD‑001 class 3
• Perform review of assembly documentation for completeness and clarity
• Utilize work instructions provided by manufacturing engineers to collect data

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in an electronic manufacturing environment, preferably with aerospace/defense contracts
• Knowledge of ESD control practices
• Strong knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD‑001 workmanship standards
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of First Article Inspections (FAIs)
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, and other aerospace/defense quality systems
• Skilled in using inspection tools (microscope, calipers, micrometers, multimeters, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work independently
• Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident

• IPC‑A‑610 Certification
• IPC J‑STD‑001 Certification
• Understanding of IPC WHMA‑A‑620
• Associate degree in industry related field
• Experience with NASA 8739 and IPC space addendum
