Wellness Equity Alliance (WEA) is a national public health organization that brings together a multidisciplinary team of public health experts with backgrounds in infectious disease, emergency medicine, primary care, cardiology, pediatrics, psychiatry, community health work, nursing, and advanced practice pharmacy. Our mission is to address health‑care disparities and the social determinants of health for underrepresented communities that have been amplified during the COVID‑19 pandemic.
We have a portfolio of hallmark services including Integrated Behavioral Health & HIV Street Medicine, Enhanced Care Management for unhoused individuals, Integrated Primary & Behavioral Health Clinics in underserved communities, and a Mobile School‑Based Health Care initiative. Our partnership model is collaborative and allows hospitals, health jurisdictions, and government agencies to deliver timely care using equity‑based strategies.

We are seeking a highly skilled, hybrid Marketing & Communications Manager who will develop and implement effective strategies to strengthen our public health messaging, reputation, and revenue streams. The manager will lead a marketing/comms team and ensure all campaigns meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Communications Plans & Implementations
- Optimize earned media
- Guide op‑eds and guest essays
- Plan and distribute press releases
- Optimize social media strategy and management (Linked In)
- Run Google Analytics and manage SEO
- Manage conferences and speaking engagements
- Advise on podcast development
- Facilitate paid media
- Lead internal communications (newsletters)
- Oversee creation of marketing materials (brochures, presentations, collateral)
- Collaborate with other departments to align marketing with overall strategy
- Brand Management
- Monitor and maintain brand assets and collateral
- Maintain digital footprint through analytics
- Track collateral inventory and allocation
- Define design and brand guidelines for protection
- Create an asset 緝 Library and content library
- Develop and update website content
- Optimize social media accounts
- Develop relationships with key media, influencers, and stakeholders صلحة
- Development & RFP/Grant Partnership & Support
- Position market strategically for marketing/comms
- Improve RFP/Grant outreach and proposal components
- Conduct product and service market research
- Prioritize product/service roll‑out plans
- Review and contribute to marketing strategies for program proposals
- Tailor marketing and communication strategies per program need
- Review outreach plans to ensure program marks are met
- Planned & Ad‑hoc Content Development & Distribution
- Lead copywriting and copyediting
- Assist with proposals and pitches
- Assist with presentations and decks
- Conduct quality assurance and improvement of strategies
- Stay current with communication and marketing trends
