Hiring Immediately – $24‑26/hr + bonuses

Full-time & Part-time.

Help us collect signatures for an important ballot initiative! Petitioners will canvass in busy public areas, engaging voters in one‑on‑one conversations to gather signatures. Canvassing is all about connecting with people face‑to‑face, having meaningful conversations, and inspiring them to take action on important issues. We spend our days outdoors, in public spaces, to engage with community members.

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience in Leadership, Communication & Advocacy, Community Outreach & Engagement, Campaign Work, Public Policy, and Social Enterprise.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Canvass positions start at $24/hr.
  • Leadership positions start at $26/hr.
  • We offer overtime pay, performance bonuses, paid training, sick pay, and bonuses for friend referrals.

Canvasser Responsibilities
  • Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Deliver a compelling campaign message and collect complete survey answers from voters.
  • Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills.
Team Lead Responsibilities
  • All canvasser responsibilities.
  • Manage a small group of canvassers out in the field by checking in with them periodically throughout the day and debriefing at the end of the day.
  • Ensure each canvasser has all of the materials they need to be safe and successful.
  • Assist directors with canvasser training and administrative work.

  • Passionate about progressive politics and fostering democracy.
  • Strong communication skills and enjoys working with others.
  • Hard worker who stays motivated to engage as many people as possible.
  • Open to new opportunities and interested in building campaign skills.
  • Culturally competent and able to respectfully engage teammates and the community.
  • Can work and problem‑solve collaboratively as necessary.
  • Prior experience in a public‑facing role like canvassing, petitioning, customer service, sales, or the service industry is a plus.
