Bridge of Faith; BOF

Bridge of Faith (BOF) empowers girls/women who have aged out of foster care, or facing homelessness. We provide a safe H.O.M.E. (Home Opportunity Meets Emancipation), emotional support, and teach life skills so they become emotionally stable, educated, and self-supporting women of purpose with their own voice.

Do you have office skills? Do you like organizing? We need volunteers to help behind the scenes.

We always need help in preparing and setting up during our events. As an Event Volunteer, you can help set up before or clean up after the event, help customers while they are shopping, greet people at the event, and much more. We are always looking for models for our annual fashion show.

We need volunteers at the HOMEs to garden, do maintenance and repair, prepare a meal, or host workshops for the girls (anything from A to Z, Art to Zumba).

We need volunteers to assist customers, do crafts, iron, organize merchandise, help with pricing and seasonal displays, clean, manage inventory & donations, and much more.

About us

Bridge of Faith H.O.M.E. for emancipated foster youth originally started in the prison system with classes for inmates. We quickly realized the anguish of women whose children had been placed into the foster care system. Our vision is to make a positive influence and change the generational cycle and status quo for girls who were impacted by the foster care experience.
