OverviewFounded in 1972, La Palma Intercommunity Hospital is a 141‑bed acute‑care community hospital and the only hospital in La Palma. Our highly qualified team is committed to providing outstanding service in a safe, comfortable, and caring environment. Patients benefit from the expertise of a large hospital system in a smaller, more personal setting.
ResponsibilitiesThe LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring clinical competence within the scope of practice in accordance with state requirements. In collaboration with the healthcare team and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), the LVN/LPN works to maintain safety, provide patient comfort and care, and improve the overall patient experience in a variety of patient care units.
Qualifications- Current and valid state license
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC) certificate upon hire and maintain it
- Minimum one year experience in acute care nursing preferred
- IV certification upon hire (state specific)
- Current ACLS (AHA or ARC) certificate preferred or within 60 days of hire
La Palma Intercommunity Hospital offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Total Rewards includes paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and voluntary benefit options. Pay range: $30.80 to $41.45 per hour, dependent on skill set, experience, and credentials.
