- Deliver safe patient care following the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide direct patient care within scope of practice and direct/manage patient/family teaching.
- Supervise other nursing personnel and maintain professional nursing care standards in telemetry.
- Communicate changes in patients’ clinical condition to physicians, present diagnostic study results and symptomatology.
- Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response.
- Know EMTALA regulations and report child/adult abuse to appropriate agencies and hospital social workers.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ENPC certificates (maintained).
- Basic arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute‑care or ER setting.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Facility‑specific requirements: MICN (12 months), EDAP courses 1 & 2 (6 months), NRP (90 days), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNNC) (12 months).
Competitive compensation at $40.41 to $69.32 per hour. Starting compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, education, and credentials.
