Occupational Health Registered Nurse needed for a full‑time temp contract. Opportunity with Yoh's client located in Downtown Los Angeles, CA
. Length of assignment TBD but could be 6+ months. The clinic offers occupational, primary, and preventative care for employees. Very similar to an urgent care but you are only seeing adults and it is not fast‑paced. Primary responsibilities include care and management of occupational injuries/illnesses, hearing conservation, and initial care of acute non‑occupational illnesses.
Hours:
Monday – Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (30 min lunch) starting ASAP – ongoing until further notice.
- Active/unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
- Minimum (3) years’ experience as a Nurse
- Trained in spirometry (NIOSH Certified)
- Audiometry testing (CAOHC Certified)
- Recent clinical experience and strong first‑aid skills
- Previous experience in Occupational Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Primary Care, Family Medicine, School Nursing, or Corrections type setting
- Nursing assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
- Administer first‑aid
- Provide medical testing (occupational and health screening tests) such as EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, drug testing, etc.
- Participate in plant safety and ergonomic programs
- Ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc.
- Assist with DOT Medical Exams for DMV purposes
- Assist First Responders in medical emergencies
- BLS/CPR certified
