• High school diploma or equivalent and a competent history in a similar facility.
• Valid First Aid certification; depending on state regulations, current CPR, Certified Nursing Assistant certification, or state certification. Must pass an examination or skills evaluation and maintain continuing education requirements.
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and understanding English.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push continuously, and lift up to 25 pounds.

• Experience working in Assisted Living.

• Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to residents in a manner that meets or exceeds community expectations.
• Keep accurate care records.
• Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures.
