Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position in California requiring a current CA RN license and strong critical care skills.

• Work in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM
• Assignment length is 9 weeks
• Uses Epic EMR system
• Responsibilities include providing critical care to cardiovascular ICU patients
• Local and travel candidates are eligible at the same rate
• Preferred: BSN and 1 year current experience in a progressive or intermediate care unit
• Assignment is subject to tenure limitations per HR policy; contingent workers cannot exceed two years on assignment without a 90-day break

• Active CA RN license in hand at time of consideration
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience in a CVICU or similar critical care setting
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration
