Job Summary
The VISN 22 VA Desert Pacific Healthcare Greater Los Angeles VA Medical Center (VAGLAHS) is seeking a highly skilled/experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Nurse Manager (NM) within our busy level II Emergency Department. Demonstrates leadership, experience/ingenious approaches to management of complex patient care. Located in Los Angeles, CA.
DutiesThe Nurse Manager (NM)(remove 'remove' placeholder) is the designated first-line supervisory authority and is responsible and accountable for the operation of their assigned units and provides coverage for other NMs as needed. The NM is responsible and accountable for the direction and supervision of specific orientation, training, development of staff, and evaluation of individual staff performance. Functions as a role model, educator, practitioner, and supervisor providing leadership to the team.
Enhances care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team to remove barriers and implement new evidence-based cutting-edge programs/processes.
