Submit with profile This position will support the clinics which see patients with Lung and GU cancers at Cancer Center This will be a 830-5pm position, Monday - Friday, no weekends (shifts may vary in start/end times) Ambulatory practice management including efficient clinic flow and ensure continuity of patient care. Completion of pertinent nursing assessment and interventions. Ensure new patient records received and abstracted for physician review.

Telephone triage of clinic patients. Assist physician with in-office minor surgical procedures such as excisional biopsy /wide excision/ JP drain/wound vacuum care, wound drainage, Bone Marrow BX, Minor surgical procedures. Administer intermuscular and subcutaneous chemotherapy injections, work with CADD pumps for continuous infusions, access, de-access and trouble shoot PAS-ports and chest ports. Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, chemo/surgery/BMT teaching, treatment side effects.
