Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Los Angeles, California, 90017!

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Los Angeles, CA | Acute Care

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

• Provide direct nursing care to a patient population including neonates, adolescents, and adults in a Labor and Delivery setting encompassing Triage, LDR, OR, NICU, and Post-Partum units
• Utilize external fetal monitoring and demonstrate recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns
• Circulate for C-sections as required by unit needs
• Float to Perinatal unit as needed
• Fulfill on-call obligations, expected approximately 2 times per month in addition to scheduled shifts
• Work 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights) and be available for most holidays

• Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery RN experience required
• Active California RN license required at time of submission
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced — all must be included with submission
• Must pass an onsite Advanced EKG exam (20 questions, 17 rhythm strips, 3 general questions; 80% minimum passing score; two attempts permitted within a 45-minute time limit)
• Must complete required specialty modules prior to start; completion tracked via transcripts
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the travel rate
• Candidates with license restrictions, disciplinary actions, board investigations, or background findings will not be considered
• This is a smoke/nicotine-free facility; candidates must arrive free of tobacco odor

• Familiarity with unit systems including SBAR, Omnicell, and eMD Allscripts
• Experience in both low- and high-risk Labor and Delivery environments
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

• Work in a comprehensive OB unit supported by 24-hour OB hospitalist and OB anesthesia coverage in a dynamic, high-acuity setting
• Open to first-time travelers, offering an excellent opportunity to launch or grow a travel nursing career in Labor and Delivery
