• Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
• Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
• Serve as a leader of the health care team and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Understand team members' scope of practice and "escalate issues as needed."
• Mentor, orient, and coach others in unit-specific operations and patient care.
• Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
• Monitor patient progress and revise care plans based on evaluations.
• Ensure patient safety and optimal pain control.
• Practice customer service standards and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Act as a resource and mentor to new employees and team members.
