About This Role
The Seasonal Emergency Department RN provides professional nursing care as a leader of the healthcare team, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who are flexible and committed to delivering quality patient care.
Highlights- Pay: $70 - $74/hour
- Location: Panorama City, CA
- Facility: Kaiser Permanente
- Schedule: Full Time
- Provide professional nursing care utilizing the nursing process.
- Uphold Kaiser Permanente's policies and procedures.
- Serve as a leader of the healthcare team and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Understand own and team members' scope of practice and escalates issues as appropriate.
- Mentor, orient, and coach others in unit-specific operations and patient care activities.
- Develop and contribute to individualized plans of care.
- Monitor patients' progress based on care plans and revise as necessary.
- Ensure patient safety related to medications and procedures.
- Practice customer service standards and promptly respond to patient requests.
- Act as a resource, preceptor, and mentor to new employees and team members.
Education:
- Associate's Degree (ADN) required
- Experienced level required
Certifications:
- Current RN License in California
