RN – Labor and Delivery

Los Angeles, CA | Acute Care

Contract | Night Shift | Expected 36–48 hours/week

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff within the Labor and Delivery department
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
• Monitor and interpret fetal heart monitoring data and respond appropriately to findings
• Maintain all required certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Monitoring throughout the duration of the assignment

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from an approved vendor
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification required; AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring course required upon hire and every two years

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
