RN - OR (Operating Room)

Provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room. Coordinates perioperative care, assists the surgical team, and ensures patient safety throughout preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of operating room or perioperative nursing experience (Preferred)

• Current RN license in state of practice (Required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (Preferred or based on facility requirements)
• Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) certification (Preferred)

• Performs preoperative patient assessments and verifies surgical readiness.
• Prepares operating rooms, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures.
• Assists surgeons and surgical team members during operative procedures.
• Maintains sterile technique and follows infection prevention protocols.
• Monitors patient safety and responds to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinates patient positioning, surgical counts, and procedural safety checks.
• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
• Documents perioperative assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately.
