Veterinary Technician - Floater

Overview

West Hills Animal Hospital in West Hills, California, is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a busy, well-established 4-doctor practice that provides high-quality medicine and exceptional client service and has served the community for over 30 years.

• Perform a wide range of procedures with dogs and cats, including blood/urine sample collection, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, dental prophylaxis with full mouth radiographs, surgical nursing, and client communication of treatment plans.
• Utilize your skill set to the highest level with the support of a collaborative team.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a veterinary technician in a hospital setting.
• Reliable team player who can take initiative and assist the team as needed.
• Ability to remain composed in stressful and emotional situations with a positive attitude and a passion for helping animals and their families.

• Proficiency in anesthesia monitoring, dental procedures, radiography, and client education.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced hospital environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork.

• Full-time

Salary range: $22.00–$25.00/hour, depending on experience.
