** Registered Veterinary Technician
** to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience with rooming patients, drawing blood, placing IV catheters, radiology, assisting in surgeries, and proper animal handling & restraint, and being a positive and motivating team member.

**** Sign-on Bonus of $2000 for experienced, qualified candidates!***
* · Salary:** $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, and depends on experience, education, licensure, and certifications.*
* · Schedule**:
Five 8-hour shifts, Saturdays are required to start. May be rotating in the future. Closed on Sunday and all federal holidays.*

** Who You Are:**
* ** 3+ years clinical experience
** as a veterinary technician or assistant
* ** Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of California, license must be active and in good standing**.
* Or be eligible to transfer or become licensed in California within 3 months of hire.
** A degree from an AVMA-accredited Veterinary Technology program is
** preferred but not required.
*** Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
* Experience using Avimark, preferred
* Passion for working with animals and their owners
* Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
* Understand the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
* Obtain accurate and thorough medical histories
* Perform basic exam procedures
* Skilled in venipuncture and Intravenous (IV) catheter placement (cephalic, saphenous, and jugular)
* Able to perform digital radiology (X-ray) including positioning
* Perform complete dental procedures, including digital x-rays, scaling, polishing, charting
* Comfortable with general anesthesia and surgical assisting (induction, intubation, monitoring, aseptic techniques
* Laboratory skills including microscope (ear and fecal cytology); IDEXX; AVL
* Excellent client communication/education
* Adaptable to working well with current doctors and team members##
