Our stationary and mobile clinics offer spay/neuter, preventive care, and treatment for minor illnesses and injuries. When you join the ASPCA, you become part of a team of over 1,000 dedicated colleagues committed to animal welfare.

Who

we are

The ASPCA’s Community Medicine (CM) team delivers expert veterinary care supporting the welfare of animals and their people. We provide marine and home‑based services to underserved populations, offering quality veterinary services directly within communities that need them most. We treat people and pets with dignity and respect, assisting owners in making informed decisions about their pets’ health and wellbeing regardless of financial circumstances.

What

you’ll do

Our highly skilled technicians play a crucial role in the program, collaborating with CM veterinarians and assistants to provide essential services to pets and rescue animals. You’ll use your education and license to focus on medical duties and assist with spay/neuter surgeries, preventive care, and out‑patient procedures.

What you’ll get

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes work/life balance, paid vacation, paid sick time, three paid continuing education days, a CE stipend, ten paid holidays, and paid personal time off. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, pre‑tax dependent care and health FSAs, a 401(k) plan with employer contributions, life and long‑term disability insurance, professional development programs, and a supportive team environment.

Compensation

Pay is based on education, training, experience, location, business needs, equity, market demands, and budget. The target hiring range for a new hire is $34.60–$37.00 per hour, with potential for higher pay based on performance and qualifications.
