Description
Join a cutting-edge research laboratory at UCLA focused on understanding the molecular basis of epithelial cancer formation, progression, and treatment, with the ultimate goal of informing the design and testing of strategies for cancer treatment towards clinical trials.
As a Staff Research Associate I you will work under the guidance of the Principal Investigator and your responsibilities include collaborating with UCLA staff at various clinics to consent study participants, collect tissue and tumor specimens, and ensure accurate documentation in accordance with approved research protocols. In the laboratory, you will process human specimens for downstream genomic analysis to help elucidate the molecular, cellular, and genetic events involved in gynecologic disease progression.
You’ll also assist with general lab operations and provide administrative and grant‑related support as needed.
