Scientist or Associate Scientist - CAR T and NK Culture
Immuno Vec is a biotechnology company pioneering in vivo cell engineering through non‑viral DNA delivery. Our team is developing a new class of therapies that enable precise, controllable gene expression in targeted immune cells. Supported by a multi‑year award from ARPA‑H’s EMBODY program, Immuno Vec is expanding its R&D team to advance programs in autoimmune disease and oncology.
Position SummaryThe Scientist / Associate Scientist will support critical operations for our research and development team including cell culture, molecular biology, and data analysis.
Responsibilities- Culture and genetically alter primary human immune cells.
- Produce DNA delivery vectors including virus‑like particles, polymer‑based nanoparticles, and lipid nanoparticles.
- Analyze samples using multicolor flow cytometry and digital droplet PCR.
- Prepare detailed reports that characterize the performance of hundreds of gene therapy candidates and present the results of your work to the R&D team.
- A PhD (Scientist), or a Master’s degree + 2 years of industry work experience (Associate Scientist), or a Bachelor’s degree + 4 years of industry work experience (Associate Scientist).
- Hands‑on experience with primary human cell culture.
- Hands‑on experience in large‑scale projects such as high throughput screening.
- At least three years of experience running multicolor flow cytometry and analyzing the resulting data in Flow Jo or OMIQ.
- Excellent written or oral communication skills, allowing the candidate to quickly understand experimental objectives, analyze data, and share the findings of an experiment with the team.
We’re looking for someone to join us in accelerating our fast‑paced research program. This will be an in‑person lab position requiring the candidate to be on‑site full‑time. This is a full‑time position and the salary will be $100,000+ per year (Scientist) or $70,000+ per year (Associate Scientist), depending on experience.
