• Partners with the Store Manager in the day‑to‑day operation of the store.
• Assumes responsibility for all day‑to‑day store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Manager.
• Provides coaching, training and development to the Store Employees.
• Ensures Customer/Donor needs are met by maintaining good relations; complaints are resolved; and service is quick and efficient.
• Communicates any personnel issues to the District Sales Manager when the Store Manager is absent.
• Coordinates daily morning and shift‑change team meetings when the Store Manager is absent.
• Ensures the store is maintained and inventory levels are adequate; completes regular and accurate “Rag Out” from the sales floor.
• Manages Back Room Processing (BRP) – ensures Material Handlers work effectively and efficiently to meet daily processing goals.
• Oversees Donation Attendants, ensuring they fulfill their duties as outlined in the Donation Attendant Job Description.
• Maintains adequate change at the beginning of each day, safeguards cash in registers, and banks cash receipts per ARCC policy.
• Implements appropriate loss prevention measures as directed.
• Performs other written and/or verbal duties as may be assigned by Management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year previous retail experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must pass a background check, including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors.

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive motion tasks.

Our stores operate 7 days per week. Work schedules are determined by Management and employees must be flexible to ensure adequate store coverage. Part‑time employees may be scheduled for any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
