Account Makers has been engaged by our client, a venture-backed fintech startup revolutionizing small business lending, to hire a Sales Development Representative. This permanent role is responsible for building pipeline, qualifying leads, and driving outbound sales activity to fuel company growth.

Are you a motivated self-starter eager to launch or grow your career in tech sales? Our client is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to engage prospects, nurture relationships, and book meetings that convert into new business.

As an SDR, you will manage outbound prospecting campaigns via phone, email, and Linked In to generate qualified opportunities. You will research accounts, personalize outreach, and track engagement in the CRM system. You’ll also collaborate closely with account executives to hand off qualified leads and continuously refine messaging and strategy.

This role is fast-paced and metrics-driven, with clear goals for outreach volume, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution. Top performers will have the opportunity to advance into closing roles within the sales organization.

Responsibilities and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in sales or customer-facing roles.
  • 1–3 years of sales, business development, or customer service experience (internships count).
  • Strong communication skills and comfort making high-volume outbound calls.
  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, Outreach, Hub Spot).
  • Ability to research accounts and tailor outreach to different buyer personas.
  • Results-driven mindset with a passion for hitting and exceeding goals.
  • Interest in fintech, SaaS, or startup environments a plus.

Compensation

This permanent sales role offers a base salary of $55,000 – $70,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses and commission potential (on-target earnings: $75,000 – $95,000+). The role includes benefits and structured career development.
