Mirror Media Group is a hyper‑local media company serving West Los Angeles through a network of established digital and print publications. We reach hundreds of thousands of local residents each month across email, web, social, and print.

Head of Sales & Publishing Operations

We are hiring a Head of Sales & Publishing Operations to take ownership of revenue execution and publishing operations. This is a senior, hands‑on role for someone who can close deals, enforce calendars, protect cash flow, and grow accounts over time.

This is not a strategy‑only role. This is an ownership role.

What You’ll Do
  • Own advertising sales performance across all MMG platforms.
  • Personally close local and regional advertising deals.
  • Manage renewals, upsells, and long‑term advertiser relationships.
  • Take ownership of the advertising and publishing calendar.
  • Coordinate special sections, guides, and campaigns.
  • Ensure ads, sponsored content, and campaigns run accurately and on schedule.
  • Work closely with editors, design, and production teams to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure billing, follow‑up, and collections stay on track.
  • Act as the primary point of accountability for revenue and execution.

Editorial content and journalism are handled by our editors. This role does not manage newsroom content.

  • Wants real responsibility, not just a title.

Qualifications
  • Experience in media sales, advertising, or local business marketing.
  • Proven ability to sell and close deals personally.
  • Experience managing calendars, deadlines, and multi‑channel campaigns.
  • Comfortable owning numbers and being accountable for results.
  • Organized, direct, and execution‑focused.
  • Local media or agency experience preferred.
Compensation

$55,000 base salary plus commission and performance bonuses.

Strong performers typically earn $80,000–$130,000+ total compensation based on results.
