This is a full-time, exempt position.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
New Business Sales Activities & Targets
- Drive and create new business opportunities through the sale of full-season memberships, mini-plans, group tickets, and related ticket packages
- Proactively pursue new business opportunities by inbound/outbound calls, emails, setting appointments, and attending networking events
- Consistently meet and exceed weekly hustle metrics and revenue goals
- Lead targeted sales campaigns by following established touchpoint processes
- Strengthen the inside sales representatives by mentoring and assisting sales directors with training and CRM tracking
- Help lead game-day responsibilities, including managing the sales table, client visits, and other assigned tasks both during games and outside regular business hours by providing the best-in-class customer service
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
:
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management skills with attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed, while also being a team player
- Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in Business, Sport Management, or a related field
- Proven ability to maintain strong sales skills, backed by a consistent track record of 2-3 years of successful sales performance, preferably in sports and entertainment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; ability to learn required business systems
- Experience selling premium, group, or season ticket products within professional or collegiate sports
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data-driven sales processes
- Demonstrated success in exceeding revenue targets in a competitive sales environment
- Strong presentation skills and comfort representing the organization at events
- Sports team or league experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required
- Available to work on-site for Sparks home games and events, including late evening hours and outside normal business hours
- Ability to perform physical tasks and essential requirements
- Must be willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA
