ESPN LA and Good Karma Sports are seeking an experienced and visionary Digital Sales Manager to lead our revenue strategy and execution across the Los Angeles market. This leadership position will oversee ESPN LA’s Digital Marketing Consultants and drive revenue growth across ESPN Digital and our full digital portfolio, including NBA, March Madness, NESN/SNP, and Good Karma Premium Sports.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, inspire high performance and cultivate strong relationships with key partners to deliver creative best-in-class advertising solutions.
Career responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide strategic leadership and direct management to ESPN LA’s digital sales team.
- Develop and execute innovative sales strategies that drive revenue across ESPN Digital and Good Karma Sports’ digital portfolio.
- Champion the ESPN Digital and digital video value propositions while representing Good Karma Sports’ premium digital brands with authority.
- Own digital revenue forecasting, pipeline management, pacing, and performance accountability for the Los Angeles market.
- Mentor, coach, and develop digital sellers to achieve consistent, exceptional results.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with advertising partners, agencies, and high-value prospects.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while growing existing partner relationships.
- Collaborate with Marketing Consultants, Creative Services, Operations, and other internal teams to create integrated, market-leading sales opportunities.
- Use Attio, reporting tools, and performance data to inform sales strategy and business decisions.
- Anticipate challenges, identify growth opportunities, and implement solutions that deliver measurable impact.
- Collaborate with the Los Angeles Market Manager and market leadership team to drive the overall market budget and business objectives.
- Leverage AI tools and technologies to improve workflows, automate routine tasks, enhance productivity, and support more effective collaboration while maintaining appropriate human oversight.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Preferred knowledge, skills and qualifications:
- At least four years of sales experience, including two or more years in digital sales leadership.
- Demonstrated success exceeding revenue goals and developing new business.
- Strong knowledge of digital media sales, including digital video, OTT/CTV, and programmatic advertising.
- Understanding of programmatic DSPs and their role in campaign performance.
- Experience using Attio, CRM systems, reporting tools, and sales data to guide strategic decisions.
- Experience working with major advertising agencies and direct partners.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
- Previous sports marketing or media sales experience preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while operating independently when needed.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $225,000 - $250,000, plus bonus opportunities for California based individuals. Actual salary will be determined based on factors including experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, location, and internal and external equity.
