Armed Security Officer (Nightlife Venues)

Location: Hollywood / West Hollywood, CA

Shifts: Wednesday to Saturday, 9:00 PM – 3:00 AM (Times are Approximate)

Pay Rate: $24 – $26 per hour (DOE)

We are seeking Armed Security Officers to provide professional security services for nightlife venues, including bars and nightclubs, in Hollywood and West Hollywood. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff while ensuring compliance with venue policies and local regulations.

• Provide armed security presence and maintain a high level of situational awareness.
• Monitor venue entry and exit points, conduct s, and enforce age restrictions.
• De-escalate conflicts and intervene in disturbances professionally.
• Conduct bag checks and pat-downs as required by venue policy.
• Respond promptly to incidents, including fights, disorderly conduct, and emergencies.
• Escort individuals off the premises when necessary.
• Collaborate with venue staff and local law enforcement when needed.
• Complete incident reports and maintain detailed records of security-related activities.

• Valid California Guard Card
• Valid California Firearm Permit
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites
• Ability to work night shifts (9:00 PM – 3:00 AM, Wednesday-Saturday)
• Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and respond quickly to incidents
• Prior experience in nightlife security is preferred but not required
