As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Government Complex in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Armed Officer where you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. You will interact with the public, support a secure environment, and provide exceptional customer service.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, participate in emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment as an armed officer.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
• Monitor for unusual activity or security-related concerns, and promptly report observations as required by site protocols.
• Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or the public while maintaining a visible presence at the location.
• Follow all Allied Universal protocols as well as site-specific instructions, maintaining awareness of the unique needs of a government facility.
• Maintain readiness to respond to emergencies or incidents that may require an armed security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
