As a Security Officer - Overnight Access Control in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor entrances, verify credentials, and help to deter security‑related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and provide outstanding customer service to all visitors and staff.

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure environment for personnel, visitors, and assets at the location.
• Monitor access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.
• Assist with the implementation of security‑related protocols specific to the tech, media, and telecom environment.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees to address questions and concerns related to security‑related matters.
• Document and report any security‑related incidents, irregularities, or suspicious activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies.

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
