As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Government in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and judgment to address each situation.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents encountered during patrols.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to support the security-related needs of the government location.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Follow all protocols and procedures for handling and carrying firearms in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• An armed guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
