Job Description: As a Security Officer - Hospital Rounds Unarmed in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in healthcare settings. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, and promote a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. Your duties include conducting routine patrols, remaining visible throughout the facility, and providing outstanding customer service and communication.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or maintenance issues.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare staff and/or law enforcement when responding to incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Experience in access control or badge processing preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR or first aid certification preferred.
• 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 for armed roles.
• High‑school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws; valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
