As a Security Officer - Patrol Vehicle Driver in Los Angeles, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout the location. • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or hazards to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding individuals and communicating with emergency responders.
• Complete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to those at the location.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possession of a guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Primarily driving post is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
