We're looking for a Residential Security Officer to join our Global Security Protective Services team in Los Angeles, CA

* What you’ll do:

** Implement, manage and help to lead a comprehensive residential security program providing a safe and secure home environment for senior executives, family members, and guests. In a professional, discreet and respectful manner you will greet and receive guests; monitor CCTV and security technologies in a 24/7 Command Post; implement access control procedures; conduct foot patrols, receive and inspect deliveries, and execute other complementary procedures to maintain 24-hour security for residential properties.

Communicate effectively and politely; maintain detailed, accurate logs; draft and update standard operating procedures; create and maintain complex shift schedules and multiple electronic calendars, and track and manage official expenses and transaction reports.

Liaise with household staff, contractors, event staff, and other stakeholders to ensure that security procedures are understood and followed in day-to-day residential functions and also integrated into the planning of work projects and events Respond to security breaches, medical emergencies and other incidents. Assist with incident and disaster planning and response; conduct drills, maintain inventories, and test equipment

Mentor and develop junior Residential Security Officers.
** Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
** A strong understanding of residential security operations

Maintain focus on safety, customer service, prioritization, and constant learning Acute attention to detail with a professional demeanor and advanced interpersonal communication skills

Strong judgment, decision making, time management, and prioritizing skills

Skilled verbal and written communicator. Uses tact and diplomacy in all interactions and is comfortable interacting with senior executives and VIPsFlexible, resilient, and highly adaptable. Works well independently, but also in a team environment

Knowledge of basic first aid skills

Basic user skills and understanding of Windows and iOS based computing in order to create and maintain documents, spreadsheets, slide presentations and other products

Flexibility to work 12 hour shifts, including weekends and holidays

* Minimum Qualifications:

** 3 years of relevant work experience in residential or executive security, law enforcement or the military

A valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle

Must be able to pass a background and driving record check Valid California BSIS Guard Card Valid California BSIS Firearms Permit Ability to stand, sit, and walk frequently, and for long periods of time; ability to lift luggage, equipment and other heavy items

* Preferred Qualifications:

** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience

Previous relevant experience comprised of: 2+ years of residential security, executive protection, operations center and/or command post experience; and 3+ years experience in the military, law enforcement, or a public/private sector security organization or equivalent

Prior medical and trauma training and certifications
