** How This Role Works:*

** Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
** You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

** Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:
** In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

** Responsibilities:*
* + Provide a professional, welcoming presence at the front desk of a commercial real estate location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and customer service expectations.

+ Greet tenants, visitors, contractors, and vendors; verify access authorization; issue visitor credentials; and maintain accurate visitor and access records.

+ Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.

+ Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders when needed.

+ Answer phones, provide directions and building information, and support tenants and visitors with routine front-desk requests.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
