As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents, critical situations, and medical-center emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with directions and maintaining a professional presence.

+ Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with site leadership, healthcare personnel, and Allied Universal supervision regarding incidents and observations.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing Spanish.

+ Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.

+ Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.

+ Have customer service experience, preferred.

+ Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
