Commercial Cooking and Refrigeration Service Technician

Locations: Greater Los Angeles, CA

Pay Range: $25.00-$40.00 Full-Time

Wire is seeking experienced and professional Commercial Refrigeration Service Technicians for our Commercial Kitchen Equipment Service locations. We repair equipment in restaurants, hotels, and institutions across California and Washington. Our services include repairs, preventative maintenance, installations, and training programs. Ideal candidates will have experience in:

• Customer service with a smile
• Servicing commercial kitchen equipment and refrigeration
• Executing repairs
• Performing preventative maintenance

Essential Responsibilities

• Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment. Communicate with dispatch upon arrival and departure.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external customers, including dispatchers, parts agents, customers, general managers, and suppliers.
• Be available for overtime and weekend service schedules.
• Maintain company vehicles, including cleanliness, organization, and inventory monitoring.
• Return parts to the warranty department as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in refrigeration, cooking, HVAC, or related military service.
• Strong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skills.
• Excellent customer communication skills.
• Dedicated, punctual, organized.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with walk-ins, coolers, freezers, ice machines, prep tables, fryers, ovens, steamers, ranges, broilers, warewashers, etc.
• CFESA certification and related training.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• Computer literacy.
