At VCI Construction, as a Telecom Aerial Foreman, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial telecom systems, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. You will serve as the on‑site expert, offering guidance and support to less experienced team members.

- Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.
- Safely use equipment like bucket truck, digger derrick, and excavators.
- Maintain safe work areas and smooth traffic flow on site.
- Work at heights using climbing hooks and ladders.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as wrenches, drills, and saws.
- Provide guidance and support to others as needed.
- Be ready to travel for short‑notice storm response.
- Complete daily work orders and crew checks to document productivity and safety compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Complete and maintain all required training.
- Work independently with coworkers, customers, and others in unsupervised environments.
- Provide accurate and reliable information to others in the company.
- Drive safely as part of routine work duties.
- Use computers and related technology responsibly.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Have authorization to work in the United States.
- Have a High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Hold a valid state driver's license (non‑provisional) with an acceptable driving record.
- Pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
- Have at least 3 years of related work experience.
- Be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified.
- CDL Class “A” driver license is preferred.
- Routinely work with arms above shoulder level, at heights in confined spaces, alone in remote locations, operate vehicle and heavy machinery, use ladder, bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift objects greater than 55 pounds.
- Occasionally use keyboard and mouse.
Wage Range: $68,640.00 – $92,000.00
