AV Technician

We are looking for a skilled and energetic Audio Visual Technician to join our team and enhance the quality of our events, meetings, and technical installations. In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of AV systems to ensure seamless performance in various environments. The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, has strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and thrives in fast-paced settings that require attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot AV systems including projectors, microphones, speakers, displays, conferencing equipment, and control systems
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and longevity
• Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for accurate system setup
• Build and manage cabling infrastructure with precision and neatness
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues with AV control systems and related components
• Support telecommunications needs including network connections and low-voltage wiring for integrated AV setups
• Work closely with clients and team members to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, service activities, and repairs
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues within AV equipment using appropriate tools
• Travel to various sites to support installations, maintenance, and on-site service calls

• Proven experience working with electrical systems, low-voltage wiring, or telecommunications
• Hands‑on background in computer hardware, software troubleshooting, and AV control systems is highly preferred
• Strong ability to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Mechanical aptitude with effective use of hand tools for equipment installation and cabling
• Knowledge of electrical codes and low-voltage safety standards is a plus
• Prior field service experience with on‑site customer support is advantageous
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex issues efficiently while maintaining quality
