Job Description

Haustech is a custom audio video and integration installation company in Los Angeles. We work with Designers / Architects and primarily cater to the clientele on the Westside of Los Angeles. We are seeking a special individual who will take the lead in our installation department, helping to grow the company in the direction our many opportunities are taking us.

This individual will be an installer in the field and must have the appropriate skills and desire to fill this role. However, the goal is that this will be only the beginning of this job. We are looking to implement systems and practices that will be the cornerstone of our growing company and we see this person working their way into management in the future.

Responsibilities

and Duties
  • Prewire and installation of A / V systems in new and retrofit construction environments.
  • Loading and unloading of equipment to and from work vehicles and job sites.
  • Finish installation of equipment, testing and troubleshooting.
  • Performing work at exacting standards in an efficient manner.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance, a positive attitude and a spirit of motivation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Prior experience working with A / V systems, remote controls, system integration, automation, computer networks and prewiring of building structures.
  • Prior experience with Savant, Lutron, Sony, Sonos, Sonance, Araknis.
  • Experience with IT network products and networking is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, managers and clients both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision.
  • A valid California drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Reliable transportation to work.
  • Ability to prove U.S. citizenship.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to be on-time, be responsible and work as a team player.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds overhead frequently and unassisted on the ground or a ladder.
