Are you a Generator Technician or Power Generation Technician looking for a field based role where you can sharpen your diagnostics skills and build on manufacturer training and certifications?
Do you want the autonomy of a remote patch in Southern California, with the support of an established specialist emergency power business?
On offer is a permanent position in a growing service operation, covering planned maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on commercial and industrial generator sets across the Los Angeles area. You will be equipped to do the job properly with a take home service truck, company phone and computer, mobile hotspot, uniforms, safety gear, and an expense card for job related costs.
This company provides equipment and service solutions for onsite emergency power, supporting customers with preventative maintenance, emergency callouts, and corrective work. As a result of expansion into Southern California, they are now looking to add an additional field technician to support the developing customer base.
In this role you will travel to customer sites (primarily in Los Angeles County, with some travel slightly north), diagnose engine and electrical faults, complete generator preventative maintenance, and carry out corrective repairs. You will also complete service documentation and work orders daily, communicating clearly with customers on findings and next steps.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Generator Technician looking to take ownership of a territory, develop deeper diagnostic capability, and continue building long-term technical credentials through ongoing equipment training and certification support.
