* Provides training workshops on selected topics as needed.
* Other duties and special projects as assigned.
* Prior experience working with children ages 0-5.
* Head Start experience preferred.
* Bachelor's degree in early childhood education, social work, human services from a four-year university required.
* Understanding of typical developmental milestones and potential developmental delays, social and emotional and behavioral needs in young children.
* Knowledge of child developmental screening tools, assessments, and techniques in child observations.
* Stays up to date with agency P&P, OHS, LACOE, and GIMS performance standards
* Ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team with a willingness to appreciate and value different points of view.
* Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are required.
* Possesses a valid driver's license and state-required auto insurance or reliable transportation depending on business needs.
* Required to travel extensively (> 50% of the time).
* Ability to work with minimal supervision.
* Spanish / English bilingual preferred.
* Ability to handle confidential information.
* Sensitivity to service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
* Must have intermediate knowledge of computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
* Database software, specifically Child Plus
* Other software / systems
