AXS is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering who will lead engineers and inspire them to build technology that powers unforgettable moments. You’ll guide the creation of features and services across our ecosystem—from intuitive B2B applications to seamless payment systems and powerful transactional engines—designing and delivering innovative, scalable solutions that bring fans closer to the events they love.

• Manage 4-6 engineers, including coaching, mentorship, and performance reviews
• Continue to be hands‑on in coding, conducting code reviews, and improving our software development practices
• Partner closely with Architecture, QA, Infrastructure, Ops teams to identify and push technical initiatives
• Collaborate with Product, PMO, stakeholders, and peers to coordinate work, gather feedback, and communicate updates
• Make focused, operational decisions to execute against goals and project plans
• Participate in recruiting and retention efforts

• 5+ years of relevant, hands‑on, technical leadership experience as a senior or lead software engineer
• 3+ years of people‑management experience with at least 3 direct reports
• Strong skills in systems design and full‑stack development with React
  
  JS, .NET, and SQL
• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and the tools used
• Demonstrated ability to think critically and provide strategic insight and analysis to solve problems and make improvements
• Experience in a continuous integration and continuous delivery environment
• Experience deploying to AWS

• Experience with containers, AWS Code Build, Spinnaker, Terraform
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools and best practices
• Experience with high‑traffic, large‑scale global consumer and enterprise software platforms
• Ticketing industry experience

$160,000 - $180,000

This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
